Privacy Policy
This policy explains what CalculusLine ("we", "us") collects when you use the CalculusLine website and learning platform (the "Service"), and what we do with it. Questions? Contact karayevnihat11@gmail.com.
1. What we collect
- Account details - the username and password you choose. Passwords are stored only in hashed form, never as plain text.
- Your activity in the Service, such as course progress, practice history, and messages you send through the help line.
- Payment information, if you subscribe or buy credits. Payments are handled by our payment processor, Stripe. We receive confirmation of your payment and subscription status; we never receive or store your full card number.
- Your email address, if you join our launch or notification list.
- Basic technical data your browser sends (such as IP address and request logs), used to operate and secure the Service.
2. Cookies and local storage
We use only what is needed to run the Service, such as keeping you signed in and remembering your preferences. We do not use advertising cookies. If we add analytics or other non-essential cookies in the future, we will update this policy and ask for consent where the law requires it.
3. How we use your information
- To provide the Service: lessons, practice, and the help line.
- To operate your subscription and credits, and to process payments and refunds through Stripe.
- To size help-line questions: messages you send may be processed by our AI infrastructure providers to grade difficulty and to power practice features.
- To respond to you, keep the Service secure, and prevent abuse.
4. Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the Service - such as Stripe for payments and our hosting and AI infrastructure providers - and where required by law. These providers may only use your information to provide their services to us.
5. Keeping and deleting your data
We keep your information while your account is active. You can delete your account from your settings, or ask us to delete your data at any time by emailing karayevnihat11@gmail.com. We keep records we are legally required to keep, such as payment records.
6. Children's privacy
The Service is intended for students of high-school age and older. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you are under 18, please use the Service with the involvement of a parent, guardian, or school.
7. Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, or to object to certain uses of it. To make a request, email karayevnihat11@gmail.com and we will respond within the time required by applicable law.
9. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. We will change the effective date above and, for material changes, give a more prominent notice.
